Cartridge FiltersCartridge panel filters are made up of special raw fiber blends with renewable and controlling features and they possess quite a strong structure. The surrounding protective frame is placed with the purpose of protecting the filter from impacts. Cartridge panel filters are G2 (EU2) - G3 (EU3) - G4 (EU4) - F5 (EU5) - F6 (EU6) classified filters. Cartridge filters are manufactured as cellulose based and fiber-glass based. Cellulose based or synthetic based standard cartridge filters must be used for temperatures up to 100°C and fiber-glass based aluminum framed cartridge filters must be used for temperatures higher than 100°C. Cartridge filters are mainly used in ventilation and paint systems.
The body of the filter is made of the aluminum shape cast by the anodizing method and a strong and flat filter is built with the two supports at each corner. In every aluminum shape cast in different kinds, there are insulating parts and thus any leakage between the body and the filter unit is prevented. Besides, it possesses features such as liquid seals on the filter or the blade for the liquid seal connection. There are one or two sieves and EPDM seals present in all the GP series filters. Mini pleated fiberglass filter unit has five (5) different heights (47, 56, 70, 93 and 140 mm) and is mounted to the body with a polyurethane seal. With this design, high efficiency filter surface is obtained and pressure drop is minimized.
